Fun. Friendly. Encouraging.
We are a recreational club founded by a PE teacher, a Sports Development Officer and a Gymnastics Coach, offering gymnastics sessions for all children, from toddlers to 18 years. There is no ability assessment for entrance, our fees are low, and our gymnasts can choose if they want to compete or just practice gymnastics for fun, fitness and personal development.
It is important to us to create a fun and supportive environment that allows all children to learn new skills and challenge themselves. We encourage our senior gymnasts to develop their skills in leading and coaching sessions so that they can support and pass on their knowledge to the younger gymnasts. This helps to create a friendly club atmosphere and keeps children engaged in the sport for longer.
From High School Age Onwards, Our Members Have the Opportunity to Access:
- Opportunities to develop communication, organisation and group management skills
- Personal growth and improve self confidence
- Coaching and Safeguarding qualifications along with mentoring
- British Gymnastics Sports Leaders Academy enrolment
- Sports Leaders UK qualifications
- Assessor for Duke of Edinburgh Award – volunteering and developing new skills
- GCSE Physical Education support
- Welsh Baccalaureate – volunteering and event co-ordination
- Freestyle Club in Flint (partnered with Aura Community Sports)
- After school clubs and PE taster sessions
